چکیده

The biochemical contents of mulberry leaf play a vital role in the field moriculture and sericulture. Qualitative quantitative production silk depends upon quality leaves consumed by silkworm. present study deals with effect micronutrients on leaves. Field experiments were conducted 12 treatments including control (T0 to T11). Each treatment replicated thrice was supplemented desired quantity micronutrients, viz., zinc, copper iron form their respective sulphates, either single or combination. moisture, moisture retention, chlorophyll, carbohydrate, protein, amino acid nitrogen analysed. At 45th 60th day pruning, maximum content recorded T8 (CuSO4 10Kg/ha + ZnSO4 FeSO4 20Kg/ha) which increased 10.30% 12.39% over control, retention percentage 29.32% 11.02% respectively. Maximum chlorophyll ‘a’, ‘b’ total T8, T7 5Kg/ha 10Kg/ha) an increase 18.42%, 48.71% 21.87% respectively at T9 15Kg/ha 30Kg/ha) 29.05%, 18.52% 26.25% pruning. carbohydrate protein noted T10 20Kg/ha 40Kg/ha) 22.25% 60.56%, pruning 24.99% 70.69% Free observed 112.76% 30.81% pruning; T4 5Kg/ha) 123.21% 11.93% findings emphasized that supplementation found enhance

Extraction, purification and anti-fatigue activity of γ-aminobutyric acid from mulberry (Morus alba L.) leaves

Mulberry (Morus alba L.) is a tree species of Moraceae widely distributed in Southern China. In the present study, the white crystal of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) was purified from mulberry leaves, and its bioactivity was also investigated. The main results were as follows: first, the crude GABA was extracted from mulberry leaves by using biochemical methods. Then, the crude was purified by chr...

Physio-biochemical attributes in two cultivars of mulberry (Morus alba L.) under NaHCO3 stress

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physiological and biochemical changes that occur in mulberry (cv. local and Sujanpuri) plants under alkaline conditions in order to understand the response of these cultivars to alkalinity. Mulberry plants were subjected to different treatments using NaHCO3 and after 20, 40 and 60 days, different physiological and biochemical parameters were studied...

Thermal and Antioxidant Properties of Polysaccharides Sequentially Extracted from Mulberry Leaves (Morus alba L.).

Polysaccharides from natural plant products are gaining considerable attention due to their multi-faceted health effects, as well their functional applications in food production. We reported the sequential extraction of mulberry leaf polysaccharides (MLPs) with hot buffer (HBSS), chelating agent (CHSS), dilute alkali (DASS) and concentrated alkali (CASS), in order to obtain polysaccharide frac...

Extraction optimization, characterization and antioxidant activity in vitro of polysaccharides from mulberry (Morus alba L.) leaves.

Extraction optimization, characterization and antioxidant activity in vitro of polysaccharides from mulberry leaves (MLP) were investigated in the present study. The optimal extraction conditions with an extraction yield of 10.0 ± 0.5% for MLP were determined as follows: extraction temperature 92 °C, extraction time 3.5h and ratio (v/w, mL/g) of extraction solvent (water) to raw material 34. Tw...
